INVESTING IN MISSOURIANS AND IMPROVING OUR ECONOMY

With over $5 billion in our state's coffers and even more federal funds on the way, Missouri has a once in a generation opportunity to invest in the people of this state. By utilizing those funds to improve state infrastructure and programs, we can prepare Missouri for the future and make our state more competitive to attract both new businesses and workers.

House Democrats have proposed legislation to help small businesses get started, empower workers, strengthen unions, and protect consumers — all while making forward-thinking investments and changes in agriculture, energy, and infrastructure.

But as always, our focus remains on bolstering Missouri communities and the people who live in them by giving them the tools to prosper. Whether that means direct state investment, smart changes to statute, or targeted tax cuts that help those who need them most, House Democrats want to invest in Missourians.
