ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE

Rural hospital closures. The seventh highest maternal mortality ranking in the nation. Substandard public health funding. Poor access to mental health care. These are just some of the reasons Missouri has consistently ranked in the bottom tier of states in health care. We can, and must, do better.

That's why Missouri House Democrats have introduced legislation make health care more affordable and accessible for more Missourians, like lowering the cost of insulin, extending postpartum MO HealthNet benefits, and meeting the mental health needs of people across the state.
